Supporting Caregivers in the Workplace; Expert Panel
The number of Family Caregivers in the workplace is growing. With a fast-growing aging population, elder caregiving is an issue that’s here to stay and anticipated to rise. Supporting your caregiving employees is important, why? Caregiving is a big productivity issue. Over 80% of caregivers say that their productivity at work is impacted by their caregiving responsibilities. Caregiving contributes to absenteeism, which is costing you money. 7 out of 10 caregivers hide their caregiving responsibilities from their employers due to fear of negative career consequences. Family Caregivers need different support from the average benefits provided to parents. Attend this panel to learn more about how to increase productivity, increase retention, reduce absenteeism, and become a “Caring Company” that attracts talent by supporting your caregiving employees now.
Our CEO and CoFounder, Kimberly Whiter will be sitting on this panel hosted by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council on August 27, 2020 from 11:30a-12:30p EST. FREE to attend.
